There is a reason no one wants the traditional ‘stand in a straight-line & say cheese’ photography any more, and that is simply because there is no personality in the pictures that creates.
I believe everyone is different & you want wedding photos that reflect that.
However, many photographers only spend an hour with a couple before the big day discussing every detail & only a couple of minutes on what photos they’d like, to which they normally respond ‘I don’t know, nice ones- you decide.' This allows the photographer to use their ‘go-to’ shots, which are the same images they’ve used with every other couple, have no reflection on who you are and can leave you disappointed with the results.
